Bangalore Rural:Avalahalli police have arrested a wife, her mother and another person on the charge of suffocating her husband, who was bedridden due to stroke, and trying to fake it as a heart attack.

The incident is said to have taken place at Yallappa Garden in Kittaganoor under Avalahalli Police Station in Bangalore Rural District. The deceased has been identified as Mubarak (40), who was married to Shahina Banu (37) about 20 years ago. It is said that Mubarak, who was suffering from stroke for the last two years, was bedridden. It has been alleged that Shahina Banu had an illicit relationship with Naheem Uddin Qureshi, who used to come to the house on the pretext of treating the daughter of the deceased who was also sick.It is said that Shahina Banu had planned to kill her husband as it became difficult to take care of her husband day by day. It is alleged that Naheem Uddin Qureshi also suggested the murder. It is said that the accused who hatched a murder plot along with his mother Haseena John strangled Mubarak to death while he was sleeping at home. Also, there have been allegations that the deceased was assaulted in many places including the private part of the body. It is said that after the murder, the mother and daughter tried to pretend that Mubarak had died of a heart attack. But Mubarak's relatives who expressed doubt about the death informed the police. In this background, Avalahalli police registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation. It is said that the post-mortem examination revealed that Mubarak died as a result of suffocation. It is known that injury marks were found on the cheeks, nose, neck and private parts of the dead body.Suspicious of this, the police detained Shahina Banu, Hasina Jan and Naheem Uddin Qureshi and interrogated them. It is said that the police said that during interrogation, the three leaked information related to the murder. At present, the Avalahalli police have arrested Shahina Banu, Hasina John and Naheem Uddin Qureshi and are continuing further investigation into the case.
